How do I know what size I need?
The bar is set to approximately shoulder width for their comfort, so each child is different. Please refer to my measuring guide for the different bar types to show where you need to measure.
How long does a cover last?
The covers last a really long time, the bar gets widened really slowly - for example, my Raffi started with a 6" bar, and finished with a 12.5" bar when he was 5. Obviously they can suffer from wear depending on the surfaces your little one plays on, but rarely will you ever see much change in the covers. The embroidery is more delicate depending on the font you choose. If choosing one of the larger fonts then care should be take to not catch or pull the threads.
Can it be reversible?
Yes, all covers can be made reversible for an extra charge, simply choose this option and write the name of the fabric you would like on the back.
How quickly will my item arrive?
My usual turnaround for making covers is 2-3 days, sometimes longer, sometimes even the same day. It all depends on the number of orders and if i am needed for other things (I'm a full time parent carer for my Raffi who is also Autistic). All items are sent via Royal mail 2nd Class, postal upgrades are available during checkout.
Can I write anything on the cover?
Yes, all covers can be personalised with names or phrases, for example, Clubfoot Cutie, Wonky Feet Under Repair etc. When doing this please refer to my guide showing the Fonts and colours available.
Can you do bespoke items?
Yes. I can do various bespoke items, with different themes, embroidery etc. However I do not use any copyright fabrics or embroider any copyright motifs etc.
Do you do gift vouchers?
Yes, I can do gift vouchers to give to loved ones. Look for Gift Vouchers in my store. I can also write a gift note if desired.
Do you do boot covers too?
Yes, I make a range of boot covers to match the bar covers. Available in Winter fleece, Summer Cool Cotton, Waterproof soft shell and Padded strap style for overnight. Only the overnight version is suitable for overnight. The rest are for daytime use only.
Are the bar covers toys?
No. None of my items are toys. The bar covers are closed using snaps, these contain small parts and should not be used as toys by children or babies. Please regularly check the snaps are secure on the covers and keep away from babies mouths.
